We can confirm it is common for the natural ingredients in our Oat Cleansing Balm to be sensitive to extremes of heat, cold and humidity.
Therefore, from time to time your Oat Cleansing Balm may vary in texture and become slightly hard or more liquid. This is a completely natural phenomenon and does not detract from the high performing safe nature of the formulation.
In the event of the formula becoming more liquid, it can be stored in the fridge to solidify the balm again. We would advise not to store in warm/humid environments to minimise the separation.
In the event of the formula becoming hard, you may find running under a warm tap for up to 30 seconds to help get it moving again!
We also advise to simply warm the balm by rubbing a pea sized amount in your palms for between 15-30 seconds to melt the product into a smooth liquid oil before applying to the face and neck 🖤
